Now that Blu Ray has been chosen as the successor for DVD, will HD-DVDs become dirt cheap?

I bought a HD-DVD add on for my 360, and I am a bit of a bargain hunter so do you think now HD-DVDs are the Betamax of the industy, do you think they will be selling them for $5/£5?

1. Maybe from an individual. But stores still had to spend a certain amount to stock them in inventory. And believe it or not, they actually get a better write-off for destroying them than they do for selling them cheap.
