Does the size of the screen of a portable DVD player matter if you're going to hook it up to a DVD projector? I usually take my iMac and hook it up to a friend's DVD projector to screen old movies every month or so. While the iMac is not too bulky, I'm thinking that a smaller, portable DVD player would be easier to take back and forth. Therefore, I'm looking at portable DVD players to hook up to the DVD projector. Does the size of the screen of the portable DVD player matter with regard to how the image will look once projected on to the big screen? Has anyone had problems with Memorex brand discs? When I first started burning my own Audio CD's and MP3's I used to buy the bulk packages of 25 or 50 blanks [to save money.] About three or four times I made the mistake of buying Memorex and each time I would throw at least one third of those in the trash because they were faulty. They would freeze my computer, I would have to reboot and pop the CD out before Windows would load to avoid it freezing again. This was at least 3 or so years ago. Soon I grew brains and started to buy from Sony. A little over a month ago I bought a Sony Handycam. Payed over $900 for the Cam and accessories and thought a bulk package of dvd's [again to be cheap] would come in handy. All they had was Memorex. The Sony packages came in sets of 2 [RW] or 3 [R] for the same price. I felt I'd give Memorex another chance since it has been a long time. Once again they dissapointed me. Out of the package of 10 [RW] I was only able to use 5. What gives? Do they have trouble producing CD/DVD's in bulk..? Or is this only happening to me? I am trying to understand but can't seem to find answers on my own. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do about it? How do I go about complaining to them? I'd love a refund of some sort [even just for the ones I couldn't use] I mean this honestly isn't fair. This is the same as stealing from consumers.. is it not? To gekkexx: I don't think I explained myself right. I was never even able to start recording with the faulty ones. As soon as I would put them into the drive and it started to turn my computer would freeze up. I wouldn't even get close to burning. Oh! I also found a form for refunds on their website. Where can I buy just the 3D glasses for the Friday the 13th Deluxe Edition DVD? I snagged F13 3D from a pawn shop for a measly $2...DVD was in great condition, & even had the outer "3D" cover..only thing is it only had ONE pair of glasses (box says it comes with 2) & that one pair of glasses is pretty beat up. Print service for DVD labels and insert? I have a wedding video project I'm working on, but am stuck at a certain point. The new Canon printer I have, the MP780, has given me problems with color printing since I've had it. I use Canon ink, not a substitute. Anyway, I'm on a deadline for a project, and can't get the DVD labels to print, and also the case insert for the DVD case. I've designed the labels in Expressit. DVD Shrink 3.2 Help- Episodes aren't fitting in to one file? I'm currently using DVD Shrink 3.2 to backup some of my shows on to my computer. The only problem I have is that for some reason whenever it's backing up and I have the results, it gets split in to two files, one that's the bulk of the episode and the other is about a minute of the ending plus credits. I tried clipping off the credits to "make room" but apparently that's not the issue because it did the same thing. Is there a way to fix this and keep it so that an entire episode, which is about 25 minutes each, is fit in to one movie file? Thanks for any help!

How can I tone upper arms without adding bulk? I've been doing that dvd by Vicky Binns (Molly off Corrie) and it's been really good so far... my arms are beginning to tone up by doing the punches and push ups etc but I'm conscious of adding too much bulk. I heard that, too many bulk copies from DVD to HardDisk will reduce the durability of HardDisk. Is that TRUE? I usually copy my DVDs to my hard disk. Then I will play it from it. I used to copy atleast one DVD a day. Is this advisable? will it affect the Hard-disk?

What computer platform is most appropriate for art gallery administrative tasks? Mac or PC? I currently use a PC to do tasks such as website design/updating, constant emails, graphic design, word processing, image correction, manipulation and storage, bulk mailing, cd/dvd reading...the list goes on. This computer has been my worst nightmare. I run anti-virus, bot, and ad-ware every other day, sometimes everyday and I'm still having problems! Programs crash, boot-up of the machine and programs takes several minutes. I cannot afford to sit and wait for the computer to work so slowly. I have the opportunity to submit for a new machine as budget reports are due. I have used a Mac/Apple all my life, so my opinion is biased. Any constructive suggestions out there? I realize this decision may be purely preference--I'd love facts.

are blank sony dvds better than others? Basically I am creating my own DVD's and the picture or sound quality isn’t perfect. (So is not like real DVD). Currently I am using Bulk Paq blank DVDs and it does the job but the quality isn’t perfect. So I was wondering if I went out and bought some good expensive blank SONY DVDs will it improve the quality of the picture and sound a lot or a bit or not at all. In the end what I am trying to do is create DVDs for friends and family. Appreciate the help.

how to add another outlet for a flat panel tv? i am going to be mounting a flat panel tv to my wall. there is a power outlet at the bottom of the wall (which i can plug in cable box, dvd, etc.) but i want to add another outlet higher up on the wall behind the flatpanel tv. how do i go about taping off of the existing outlet? i am also going to add a bulk cable wall plate behind the tv and at the bottom of the wall (to run hdmi cables and stuff)

I have 100s of cd/dvd movies, both original and duplicate. What can i do with these? will anyone buy these from me. I like to do bulk selling. I dont want to keep it idle and fill space in my room. Best sad movies and best indie films ever? I have watched the notebook, I thought it was a good wrote movie, and the saddest movie I have ever seen.. Is there anything sadder then that movie? I want to know if a director can top that one? Also what are the greatest cult classic comedys or indie films that are classics. I am trying to bulk up my dvd collection that is already 500dvds deep however I need to make it more rich then it already is. I am sam is a sad movie.
