Does anyone want to buy a bulk pallet of sealed dvd movies? I run an online dvd store and am currently selling our merch way below our cost, since we are getting rid of a lot of our inventory. its a bulk pallet of 50 Hollywood Dvd movies, all sealed. for $99 with shipping included. You can resell them on ebay for a good profit.

Has anyone had problems with Memorex brand discs? When I first started burning my own Audio CD's and MP3's I used to buy the bulk packages of 25 or 50 blanks [to save money.] About three or four times I made the mistake of buying Memorex and each time I would throw at least one third of those in the trash because they were faulty. They would freeze my computer, I would have to reboot and pop the CD out before Windows would load to avoid it freezing again. This was at least 3 or so years ago. Soon I grew brains and started to buy from Sony. A little over a month ago I bought a Sony Handycam. Payed over $900 for the Cam and accessories and thought a bulk package of dvd's [again to be cheap] would come in handy. All they had was Memorex. The Sony packages came in sets of 2 [RW] or 3 [R] for the same price. I felt I'd give Memorex another chance since it has been a long time. Once again they dissapointed me. Out of the package of 10 [RW] I was only able to use 5. What gives? Do they have trouble producing CD/DVD's in bulk..? Or is this only happening to me? I am trying to understand but can't seem to find answers on my own. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do about it? How do I go about complaining to them? I'd love a refund of some sort [even just for the ones I couldn't use] I mean this honestly isn't fair. This is the same as stealing from consumers.. is it not? To gekkexx: I don't think I explained myself right. I was never even able to start recording with the faulty ones. People that sell DVDs on eBay, how do they get them wholesale? You go on eBay and you buy a popular movie DVD, anything first rate and brand new, how do people buy these in bulk? Don't you have to have a huge account like a retail store to do that? I heard that, too many bulk copies from DVD to HardDisk will reduce the durability of HardDisk. Is that TRUE? I usually copy my DVDs to my hard disk. Then I will play it from it. I used to copy atleast one DVD a day. Is this advisable? will it affect the Hard-disk?

What computer platform is most appropriate for art gallery administrative tasks? Mac or PC? I currently use a PC to do tasks such as website design/updating, constant emails, graphic design, word processing, image correction, manipulation and storage, bulk mailing, cd/dvd reading...the list goes on. I recently downloaded My Name Is Earl season 2 from BitLord, the files came to me in .avi format, which is usually is no problem, acept this time i want to bulk convert the 23 episodes onto 4 discs which I can not do as my usual convertor (WinAvi) does not allow it.
